I often wondered why union negotiations caused Jimmy Hoffa to be taken out. I am a Teamster. Perhaps I should study their history. I'm mad as hell, and I can't take it anymore! The teamsters have someone new at the helm. His name is Johnson. I am pretty good at calling the shots the way I see them. I see trouble among the teamsters. Union negotiations among them is a joke. The leader that I've worked for in the Trade Show Division in Dallas, Texas needs to be kicked out. In union negotiations between the Freeman Company in Irving, Texas and the Teamsters... they should consider dropping their contract unless they elect a decent leader. Their current leader for that division is Danny Carpenter. I've heard from reliable sources that Mr. Carpenter has committed illegal activities in his works with the teamsters while employed with the "Walker, Texas Ranger" TV show. These activities are suppose to be under investigation, but yet the man is still working as a leader. He plays favorites when calling peolpe for work. Union negotiations among any further businesses that deal with the teamsters should request a different leader should Mr. Carpenter the current head of that department.
Another leader in question is Orville Couch of G.E.S. in Grand Prairie, Texas. This business also deals in the trade show division. It was reported to me that Mr. Couch is an extremely lazy man that uses and abuses his drivers. He has been known to mislead new hires in thinking that they were hired full time. Union negotiations may not be able to do anything about this man unless G.E.S. steps in to deal with their problem. Mr. Couch plays with his drivers hearts and minds. Some of the drivers have had good reasons for not being able to work due to sickness, and communications difficulties. Yet Mr. Couch will make them sit out for a week or two while he hires temp drivers to fill their shoes. He tells the temps that they are garanteed steady work at $50,000.00 plus dollars per year. Only to suddenly have the temps left completely unemployed when he decides to bring his other drivers back to work. Union negotiations between G.E.S. and the Teamsters needs some work. Orville Couch claims to be a Christian, yet he has given a bad report against a loyal and hard working temp. that has caused this particular Teamster to not be considered for any future work. In further investigations with that temp worker... he was last reported to have suffered a heart attack due to stress. I interviewed him. He chooses to remain anonymous but yet claims that he has given up all hope in surviving. He told me that if he suffers another heart attack that he will not call 911. The Teamsters really need to take a cold hard look at their union negotiations with all of their contracts. They need to look at who their department leaders are and their history in dealing with their people that count on them for leadership. I am seriously considering running against Johnston if he can't look after his own. The Teamsters have been around for years. There really isn't any way to make them go away unless the companies that hire them grow some balls and tell them in there next union negotiations that there are no more union negotiations.
